1957 Vintage Tube Amplifier Chassis
Begging to be turned into a nice vintage GUITAR AMP or mic pre-amp!
Description: This tube amplifier chasis came from a 1957 US made RCA orthofonic Hi-Fi Open reel Tape recorder and contains all the components needed to built a nice vintage tube guitar amp or even to just use it in it's current configuration as a Mic pre-amp. There is the power trasnformer, the output trasnformer, a nice slim chasis (with bottom plate!- perfect for a guitar amp), Volume / tone control potentiometers and the original vintage tubes: single ended 6AQ5 output, 6X4 rectifier, 1 12AX7 anf 1 5879 (9 pin which would make it very easy for circuits that require another 12AX7). Tube skirts are used for the 2 9 Pin tubes. The unit is in basic working condition, but has the usual age related problems: aged capacitors which need to be replaced before the unit will work perfectly or reliably. (the usual hum caused by old filter caps etc. - tested very carefully! - If you mod you would replace the caps anyways Would not you? - I would!) Trasnformers appear in perfect condition. A great project and building block - Can include a schmatic of my most favorite Fender Champ amp which is similar in tube configurations and could be used to base an amp design for this chasis on (Inquire).
Features: 1/4" Mic input, RCA line/ input, volume and toen control (1 potentiometer that has a 2 ganged shaft - original vintage knobs included), 2 Neon lamps: one to indicate signal presence, the other to indicate signal overload. There is a switch that switched between record and playback which could be easily set permanently to the record position should this unit be used as am Mic pre amplifier or even as an amplifier as it currently is. There s a socket for a switch (included ) that allows to alter tonal qualites between voice and music.
Lot: 1 US made RCA tube amplifier chassis - a nice project for a nice piece of quality gear; includes all original tubes (and tube skirts), input / ouput kjacks and accessories as described above. Perfect for a guitar amp or Mic pre! Note: All of my items are of the highest possible quality and value to the customer. This item was carefully removed, complete with all items that it originally included, for greatest value!

Bass Tone Instrument Description: This is a complete vaccum tube based Bass "synthesizer", pedal keyboard, or tone generator. Except for the power supply this is a complete instrument with a line out put for an amplifier, organ, or recording! Add a power supply, put the casing together and this unit will be ready to bring lush warm tube bass! - It provides 2 audio outputs and a tone / octave selector panel with 56 switches. This unit provides sustain, which can be switchsed in, and plays 2 footnotes of sound per tone (one octave apart). Each note has it's own tuning potentiometer, so it will also work for rnon standrad tunings. This kit includes: the wooden pedal board with switch assemblies etc., the completete tone generation and envelope circuitry, including oscillator coils, tubes, trim pots to tune each note. All components are ready assembled and a tone / function control switch board with extension cable to allow control in a reachable distance. The control switch board can be detached by unplugging it's connector.

Condition: All circuitry complete and asembled, including the tubes and this unit is believed to be fully working. (easy to repair, should there be a problem. Very accesible!) May need a bit of a cleaning since it is dusty, but will make a great vaccum tube based instrument. Tubes included (One 12DT8 was physically damaged - needs to , be replaced). This unit needs a power supply (easy hook-up: 2 heater wires for the tubes, ground and 2 voltages). 2 audio outputs are avaialble in form of shileded cables. The pedal assembly is detacheable to make it more easy to transport. The cabinet or casing needs to be completed and assembled. Only few cabinet parts have to be made. If wishng for a nice tone control unit: a case for it will have to be built.

Vaccum Tube Tone Generator
The heart of a drone box or if building a tube polyphonic synthesizer or other instrument!
One full octave - each note detuneable.
Description: Great for drone boxes or to build a keyboard / synthesizer - easy to hook up! This is a vacumm tube tone generator, which generates one full octave of tones - 12 notes. Each of the notes can be tuned independently for chords and is great fat and dissonnat tones. Build a drone box, a sound generator ot the building blocks for a polyphonic tube synthesizer! The unit was made in the USA. This module came out of a working instrument which was tested, that all tones would work - so when pulled all notes worked. 12AU7 tubes are used in this circuit (not supplied) and not even a high voltage power supply is needed, as this module was operated with. Hook-up as follows (wirres are connected to the generator): Yellow: +36 V (supply), BLK = GND, Brown + Brown = heater 12V AC (you probably could use DC as well, or rewire for 6.3V heater supply), WHT = Vibrato input (at least it looks like it; ever tried modulating this input with another tone? FM synthesis and ringmodulator like sounds!); Oscillator outputs for each note measured 24V AC ea. - tested with a regular multimeter). In case you ever want to get a schmatic (don't have one; also: you can draw it easily! - simple circuit!): This oscillator came from a Conn Rhapsody 627, but is also used is a Conn Minuet 542. The power supply for both of these organs uses a voltage reglator tube, likely for the supply of the tone generator, so a regulated 36 V supply recommeneded.

There are switches a Mic input jack, the original part of the face plate which describes the switches functions, - there are all vintage components (Coils, quality resitors and paper capacitors etc.) of which this unit is comprosed. Description: This Voice of Music 720 Tape-O-Matic stereo unit screams verry loud: “Turn me into a Tape Echo!” The already provided Sound-on Sound technolofy (VOM calls it:"Add-A-Track") can record a track while playing the other and mixing it’s audio signal into the recording. A vintage "multi tracker" if you so wish. It can’t get any more ready or easier than with this unit: Just add another Play back head (possibly can provide at additional charge - please inquire) and this unit is not far from being a tape echo!

Miniature-Tube Type 3 Vacuum Tube Audio Amplifier Modules
AMPEC Model: PC-201, Pair, NOS, in Original Box.
These two AMPEC amplifier modules are old stock made in 1952 by Centralab, Milwaukee, Wis. and are unused. Each module is model PC-201 and contains 3 Raytheon miniature type vaccum tubes. Tube types are 1 CK525AX and 2 CK512AX tubes per module. Included is a 19 page manual which contains: Schematics, hook up information, frequency charts, gain-frequency charts, illustrated suggestions for various input and output circuits and applications with schematics, plus bias considerations.
These are the perfect building blocks for Vaccum Tube Microphone Pre-Amplifiers such as used inside of Condensor Microphones or to craft a dual chanel Hi-End Mic Pre-Amps for Field Recording applications to be used with modern recording equipment. It is rare to find these modules at all - and it is extremely rare to find 2 equal units in unused condition. This is a once in a lifetime single item opportunity and once sold it is gone - forever.
